v. 25
There is a way which seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.

This confused me for many years. How are you supposed to know then?

Acts 15:28 says, “It seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us not to burden you with anything beyond the following requirements…”

But, if you exchange the word “seems” for “feels”, it begins to make a bit more sense.

Diff between praying about something, getting advice and making your best guess vs. doing whatever feels right

Just because something “feels” right, doesn’t mean it’s the wisest thing to do. In fact, it may end in destruction.

Relationships. Large purchases. Investments and get-rich-quick schemes.

Matthew 7:13-14 “You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.”

There may be a clear, easy, wide, obvious path before you. You might get quite a thrill out of it and feel really alive, but there just may be hell to pay.
